Its founding licence was issued by Uzbekistan's Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. The main campus is in Namangan in the Fergana Valley, with a second site in Tashkent. The university operates under a ministry licence granted in 2022 and extended in 2024. Teaching in local programmes is mainly in Uzbek, with some courses in Russian, while programmes aimed at international students are marketed in English. Campus and facilities
The campus spans four to five teaching buildings in Namangan and Tashkent plus two dormitories, with a library and e-library services. A VR laboratory for medical training opened in November 2024. Media club, career centre and student societies shape campus life; clinical training runs through partner state hospitals.
