Ankara Science University is a foundation university set up by the Turkish Productivity Foundation. The founding decision was taken in 2016 and the institution was formally established by a decree published on 17 April 2020. It occupies a central Ankara location in Maltepe, Çankaya, and operates its own English preparatory school. Teaching covers engineering, aviation and space sciences, law, humanities and social sciences, and fine arts and design. The university presents itself as the foundation university that invests the most in research and development relative to its budget.

About the university
Overview
Engineering and architecture, aviation and space sciences, law, humanities and social sciences, and fine arts and design form the teaching core. A graduate institute, a vocational school, a preparatory school and continuing education centres complete the structure. Campus and facilities
The campus is a group of buildings in central Kızılay/Maltepe with modern classrooms. The library pairs EKUAL-EBSCO databases, e-books and an institutional academic archive, all reachable off campus. Engineering, architecture and aviation laboratories and design studios support hands-on work. The university has no dormitory; 11 partner residences are close by.
Latest developments
In September 2026 the university published transfer results and first-stage lists for its 2026-2027 preparatory exemption exam, while final placement results for air traffic control were announced. The Young Researcher Certificate programme launched in August 2026, and academic staff recruitment and the single-course exam process were also announced.
