Antalya Science University was founded in 2010 by the Gaye Education, Health, Sports and Environment Foundation and adopted its current name in 2015. Teaching is centred on the main campus in Döşemealtı, while the city centre hosts separate sites for language preparation, graduate studies and flight training. Instruction is mainly in English, with Turkish-medium programmes available in some departments. Students arrive from more than 80 countries, giving the university a distinctly international profile. Its faculties stretch from dentistry and engineering to law and tourism, and the civil aviation college runs professional pilot training.

About the university
Overview
The university holds YÖK accreditation, is an Erasmus+ member and a Cambridge English partner. In 2021-22 it reported roughly 5,500 students. Its faculties cover dentistry, law, engineering, health sciences, tourism, and fine arts and architecture, alongside civil aviation and foreign language colleges, vocational schools and a graduate institute.
Campus and facilities
The Döşemealtı site gathers classrooms and administrative buildings in one place. Engineering laboratories, dentistry clinics and preclinical units, health sciences practice areas and flight training facilities at the Perge campus are all in use. An on-campus dormitory houses 250 students, and the site has football, basketball and tennis courts.

In the uniRank (4icu) 2025/2026 listing the university stands 114th in Türkiye and around 4,999th worldwide. Those two figures summarise its standing on the national and global scale.
Latest developments
In August 2026 the university announced results for autumn-term transfers, double major and minor applications, and graduate interviews. It signed a university-industry cooperation protocol with ARES Shipyard and issued a student amnesty notice. In July 2026 it was authorised to carry out excavation work at the ancient city of Termessos.
