Atlas University is a foundation university based at its Atlas Vadi Campus in Kağıthane, Istanbul, teaching medicine, dentistry, health sciences, engineering and natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, and art, design and architecture at associate, bachelor's and graduate level. The campus covers roughly 110,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor space, gathering the faculties, laboratories, library, research centres, social areas and the Dentistry Faculty Hospital on one site. The university frames its teaching model around a butterfly effect approach, backing theory with laboratory work, clinical practice, project-based courses and interdisciplinary study. Medicine and dentistry offer both Turkish and English tracks.

Overview
Erasmus+ covers study, internship and international student mobility along with staff programmes, working with 56 partner universities. Students who meet the requirements can take a double major or minor. Atlas TEKMER and the Technology Transfer Office support entrepreneurship, patents, R&D and technology development, and 54 student clubs are active.
Campus and facilities
Academic life centres on the Atlas Vadi Campus in Hamidiye, Kağıthane, home to six faculties, the vocational school, the school of foreign languages, the graduate institute, laboratories, the library and TEKMER. The Dentistry Faculty Hospital sits on site, while Atlas University Hospital in Bağcılar supports clinical training and internships.

Latest developments
In July 2026, 71 research projects prepared by university students earned support under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A programme, with health sciences, dentistry, and engineering and natural sciences faculties contributing the largest share. The same month the Computer Engineering bachelor's programme received MÜDEK accreditation.
