Esenyurt University is a foundation university in Istanbul offering associate, bachelor's and graduate degrees across business and management sciences, engineering, architecture, health sciences, arts and social sciences, sports sciences and applied sciences. Its academic structure brings together six faculties, one school, three vocational schools and a graduate education institute. Teaching combines theory with laboratory, workshop and practice-kitchen work, professional practice, industry collaboration and internships. The language of instruction varies by programme: most are taught in Turkish, while some are delivered in English or offer an English track. Eligible students may apply for double major and minor programmes.

About the university
Overview
Applied teaching is supported by soil, aircraft, computer, anatomy, microbiology, physiotherapy and radio-television laboratories, plus a gastronomy practice kitchen. Under Erasmus+, students can join study and internship mobility for up to twelve months in total. The International Students Office guides applicants through admission, enrolment and orientation.
Campus and facilities
Teaching takes place at three sites: the Esenyurt Central and Koza campuses in Esenyurt, and the Gümüşyaka Campus in Silivri. The central site houses the rectorate, faculties, classrooms, laboratories and library. Koza Campus serves sports sciences and studio work, while Gümüşyaka adds gastronomy practice plus indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
Rankings
In the 2025–2026 ranking period the university places 196th in the URAP Turkey-wide table with a total URAP score of 99.23, after ranking 190th in the previous edition. URAP compares universities on academic performance at national level.
Latest developments
In July 2026 six programmes at the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences earned three-year accreditation from STAR, lifting the accredited programme count to twelve. The same month the university opened three programmes for 2026–2027: English Translation and Interpreting, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, and Hair Care and Beauty Services.
