Fenerbahçe University is a foundation university in Istanbul offering associate, bachelor's and graduate programmes in health sciences, pharmacy, engineering, architecture, communication, social sciences and sports sciences. Its main campus occupies the Metropol Istanbul complex in Ataşehir and brings together classrooms, laboratories, media facilities, a library and social areas. Teaching links theory with applied courses, laboratory work, research, sports facilities and community contribution projects. Instruction is in Turkish or English depending on the programme, and English-taught degrees may include compulsory or optional preparatory study.

About the university
Overview
Erasmus+ study and internship mobility and staff exchanges run through the International Office, which also handles application, admission, registration and residence procedures. Students can use the Europass Diploma Supplement or follow double-major and minor tracks, and some sports sciences courses are held at Fenerbahçe Sports Club facilities.
Campus and facilities
The Ataşehir campus is the main site, with faculties, the health services vocational school, the graduate institute, health and engineering laboratories, a Mac computer laboratory, a library and conference halls in blocks B and F. Official figures list around 9,500 students, 40 clubs and 151,725 academic information resources.

Latest developments
On 27 July 2026 the university signed a cooperation protocol with the University of Minho in Portugal covering education, research, internationalisation, Erasmus+, student and academic mobility and joint projects. On 2 July 2026 a physiotherapy research project was granted support under the TÜBİTAK 1002-A fast support module.
