Haliç University is a foundation university in Istanbul offering associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral education in medicine, health sciences, engineering, architecture, business, social sciences, fine arts, music and performing arts, and sports sciences. Theoretical teaching is backed by laboratory work, art and design studios, applied courses, research and cooperation with industry, and with more than 30,000 graduates the university is counted among Türkiye's established foundation universities. Academic, research, arts and sports activities take place at the 5. Levent Campus in Eyüpsultan, with instruction in Turkish or English depending on the programme.

About the university
Overview
The library offers 1,100 seats across 5,082 square metres and holds more than 90,000 printed sources, over two million electronic sources and 25 databases. The Erasmus Office, established in 2009, runs study and internship mobility and staff exchanges, while eligible students can join a double-major programme.
Campus and facilities
The 5. Levent Campus in Eyüpsultan is the main academic site and houses the rectorate, faculties, vocational school, conservatory, congress centre, library, sports complex, swimming pool, fitness hall, student dormitory and social areas. Five public bus stops serve the campus and the Alibeyköy coach terminal is about one kilometre away.

In the 2025–2026 general ranking for Türkiye, Haliç University places 160th. Its total URAP score for the period stands at 375.33.
Latest developments
On 23 July 2026 the university signed a protocol with the Capital Markets Licensing, Registry and Training Institution to strengthen academic and sectoral cooperation. A TURQUALITY kick-off meeting held on 8 July 2026 addressed a roadmap for building institutional capacity and aligning processes with international standards.
