City University is a foundation university founded in 2016 by the Engelsiz Eğitim Vakfı (ENEV) and it welcomed its first students in the 2017-2018 academic year. Based in Beyoğlu, it stands out for the density of its international community: of the 14,966 students recorded in 2026, 6,689 come from abroad and represent more than 25 countries, roughly 45 percent of the student body. Teaching in Turkish and English across fields from dentistry and engineering to health sciences, art and design, the university puts clinical training at the centre through its own Kent Diş practice centre.

Overview
Academics are organised across faculties of dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences, economics and administrative and social sciences, art and design, and engineering and natural sciences, supported by 366 academic and 257 administrative staff. English-taught programmes require a preparatory year and TOEFL IBT 79, while Turkish-taught programmes ask for TÖMER B2 proficiency.
Campus and facilities
Teaching takes place across the Taksim, Kağıthane, Sadabad and J Block sites, with preclinical and simulation laboratories for dentistry, pharmacy and engineering, gastronomy practice kitchens, and studios for digital games and visual design. Library services operate at Taksim and Kağıthane, while solar power installations near completion across the campuses.
