Culture University is a foundation university established in Istanbul in 1997 by the Kültür Koleji Education Foundation. It teaches associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral students and offers programmes in engineering, architecture, law, educational sciences, social sciences, health sciences, art and design, communication and business. It comprises eight faculties, a vocational school, a school of foreign languages and a graduate education institute. From its founding until 2025 it has produced 40,903 graduates. Academic activity runs across campuses in the Bakırköy, Bahçelievler and Küçükçekmece districts.

About the university
Overview
The university holds student and staff exchange agreements with more than 150 universities across over 30 countries and takes part in Erasmus+. International students get guidance on applications, admission, enrolment, residence permits and campus life. Engineering programmes pursue nationally and internationally recognised accreditation.
Campus and facilities
The central site is the Ataköy Building in Bakırköy, spanning some 45,000 square metres indoors and 12,200 outdoors, home to the arts and sciences, architecture, engineering and art and design faculties. İncirli Building serves associate programmes, Bahçelievler Campus houses law and health sciences, and Küçükçekmece Campus hosts education and economics.

The university places 175th in the 2025–2026 URAP Turkey-wide ranking with a total URAP score of 330.47. URAP compares universities on academic performance at national level.
Latest developments
In July 2026 an imaging technology invention developed at the university received patent registration. The same month the Faculty of Engineering's English-taught electrical and electronics, civil and industrial engineering programmes earned MÜDEK accreditation and the EUR-ACE label, valid from 1 May 2026 to 30 September 2028.
