Şişli Vocational School is an independent foundation vocational school in Istanbul delivering two-year associate degree education in health, business, services, tourism, communication and design. It began teaching in the 2012–2013 academic year with nine programmes and 500 students. Graduates receive an associate degree and, if they meet the conditions, can transfer into four-year bachelor's programmes through the national vertical transfer exam. Learning blends laboratory, workshop, studio and applied coursework with internships and industry collaboration. Most programmes are taught in Turkish, with vocational English and foreign language courses in selected ones.

About the university
Overview
International applicants can use an online system for applications, document upload and admission letters. Erasmus+ opens study and internship mobility; for 2025–2026 candidates needed full-time status, a grade average of at least 2.20 out of 4.00 and the required language level. Turkish preparatory and TÖMER courses are arranged.
Campus and facilities
Maslak Campus in Sarıyer forms the core of some 40,000 square metres of teaching space, steps from the M2 metro. It offers classrooms, computer laboratories, health programme practice areas, a television studio, workshops, a library and a 700-seat conference hall. The Esentepe site sits near Gayrettepe metro.
Latest developments
In July 2026 the class of 2026 was sent off at a ceremony in the Istanbul Congress Centre, where high-achieving students received awards and graduates took their professional oaths. A protocol signed in April 2026 with the International MICE Industry Association gives students hands-on experience in tourism and event organisation.
